Dialogue with Ahmed Marcouch,
March 27 th, 2008: Reactions.

Freddy,

Thanks for sharing this blog. This conversation between Ahmed and you is very interesting and inspirational. Especially the part where he said 'I do not find it difficult to say goodbye, to go in a different direction, to me this is a challenge'.

I love this blog.

Yvonne

I really like this interview. You know what you are talking about.

Tina

Ahmed is a very handsome Mayor. That sounds so interesting that you gave him a Tarot card reading. I'd be so nervous! Looks like you are a good interviewer!! :)

Kisses,

Nima

Absolutely fabulous Freddy! Out of interest: which reading pattern did you use for the reading?

Freddy,

I enjoyed reading your latest dialogue on your website. You are a very respectful and open-minded person for doing what you are doing.
I pray that others would follow your example, especially in the United States, where it is harder to have dialogue with people who are different, especially if they are Muslim.

May God bless your efforts.

Dear Freddy,

Thank you for sharing this.  He is an inspirational man.  In fact, to me, it was one inspirational man talking with another inspirational man.

I believe I have said this before to you, but it bears repeating.  You are a good soul, Freddy.

I am fortunate to have made your acquaintence. The reading was very enjoyable and immensely interesting.

Thank you...

Jill

Freddy,

What is most interesting about this dialogue is that we are all more alike than we are different. That, I think is the thing we have to consider in our daily relationships, personal, political, social, etc., more than any other thing.

I have excerpted the following for my journal. They spoke immediately to my core beliefs. You have to be the director of your own happiness, of your own life. Try to look for the answer within yourself. There are chances, learn from others. Support and help are always available, but, eventually, you will have to do the work yourself.

A: To me, it is a continuing process, running, standing still, running again…..I'd rather consider it moments of contemplation than standing still

F: Sometimes, we have to stand still to see things, in their proportion and their true meaning.

A: “Standing still” sounds…….

F: Negative, you mean?

A: Yes. Some things have to ripen before they can blossom. That is not necessarily the same as standing still. You cannot help others, if you have lost yourself along the way.

Thank you for sharing this. Walk among a thousand angels.
